The rest is performed by licensed partners — customs brokers, bonded carriers and insurers each hold their own authority. We do not replace them and do not claim their work as our own. What we do is wire them into one chain: paperwork stops being forwarded around, status stops requiring a call to each party, and the costs land on one shipment.

How this differs

Shippers and agents, same door

No gatekeeping by category. Business shippers register and quote directly; agents and brokers apply to partner and serve their own customers on the same network.

Who Handles What

ShipMay is operated by EMAY LLC and arranges transportation in the capacity of a freight intermediary — full terms at our Terms.

Who actually transports it

Transportation is performed by licensed third-party carriers we arrange — not our own fleet. The specific carrier, route and transit time are confirmed at booking.

What an online quote is

Online and system quotes are estimates. The applicable scope, rates, cargo liability, insurance and claim deadlines are governed by the signed transportation services agreement, rate confirmation, and shipping documents such as the bill of lading.

If something goes wrong

Transportation-related disputes and claims follow the process and deadlines set out in the transportation services agreement and shipping documents, not by this website's general terms alone — we will tell you who to contact and what documentation is needed at each step.

Who handles each step

Quoting and booking: the ShipMay platform or our team; carriage: licensed third-party carriers; invoicing and reconciliation: ShipMay; transportation disputes and claims: handled per the transportation agreement, with ShipMay coordinating the carrier.
